We're trying something a little different. One of our RecLeaguer members is interested in gathering a more social, less competitive group for some mountain biking. He's kicking it off with this event! It will include trail riding, skill development, and community building.
Have you wondered what the key is to riding the berms (i.e. banked corners) with speed and confidence? We'll practice by doing repetitions on a friendly section of the trail. Join us to hone your skills on the Green Trail at Lebanon Hills.
You must bring your own equipment. Participants are responsible for their own safety, equipment, and trail decisions.
This ride is for all skill levels seeking progression in the sport. More experienced participants can share tips, encourage new members, and help build a positive local riding community. No competition, no pressure - just progress, community, and time outdoors.
Schedule:
15 minutes: Introductions and Warm up
20 minutes: Trail riding with regroup points
45 minutes: Skill Session (riding the berms)
15+ minutes: Tailgate and Social Hangout
